BLB 120x120 jubileja

In its 120th anniversary year, the Philadelphia Latvian Society, at the instigation of several members, plans to put on its own play, in keeping with its long-held tradition of amateur theatrics going back to the earliest days of the Society. This is a no-pressure production with no need to be excellent -- the only need is for everyone to get involved and have a good time!

With this e-mail we are asking everyone with an interest in getting up on stage or participating in any other way, to send an e-mail to sandramilevski@hotmail.com, since we cannot select a play without knowing how many parts we need. Please respond immediately to express your interest in participating, with a tentative date of May 19, 2012 for the show. Please indicate whether you are interested in technical backstage work or want to act, and whether you prefer a larger or smaller role. Although the play will be in Latvian, there may be non-speaking parts for those who need them, or even better, why not just learn Latvian right now?
