Final Fridays Latvian Happy Hour (or Pēdējais Piektdienas for those who speak the mother tongue) is a fundraising series of events to support the capital improvements currently underway in the theater space at the Latvian Hall, with new improvements and further progress continuing since our last Final Friday Latvian Happy Hour in August we're excited to invite you to another great evening.

You are receiving this email because you are some how associated with someone from the Latvian Society in Philadelphia, most likely Adams Berzins or Laris Kreslins.

Last month's event was such a success that we wanted to build on that show of support and generosity and encourage more people to come and be a part of this growing presence in the Philadelphia community. We'll have drink specials where a portion of the proceeds of that drink will go directly to fund the new lighting system, drinks like "hurricanes" and "dark and stormies." to continue in the theme of all this rain we've been getting over the past month will be at bar until supplies last. We'll also have a $5/person ping-pong tournament and a 50/50 raffle all to raise money for this important project. This is an ongoing effort so if you're low on funds right now, but high on spirit, come out and have a good time anyway, I'm sure we can find someone to buy you a drink for a good cause.

Come out for a great time, hang out with some amazing people, renew your membership, or sign up to become a member of the society. Tell your friends. The more the merrier.

***Keep your Calenders open for a change up in October. October 14th - 16th will host an art exhibit as part of Philadelphia Open Studio Tours and as a part of that we've moved the Final Friday Latvian Happy Hour to a date that is neither the final nor the Friday, Saturday Oct. 15th. More information (including details of a Novuss Tournament...) and advertisement will be forthcoming.***
