BALTIC FESTIVAL IN BALTIMORE, MD ON SATURDAY 4/17
The third biannual IREKS (idaranniku eesti külasimman — the East Coast [Baltic] village celebration) will be held once again at the Lithuanian Hall in Baltimore on Saturday, April 17th, 2010, beginning at 1pm. IREKS will feature performances by dancers and singers reprsenting the three Baltic countries of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Also performing will be this year's special guest from Estonia, famous old-style folk singer Kirile Loo!
Come and join us in celebrating the traditions of dancing and singing common to all three Baltic peoples! Come also to meet and mingle with your fellow Baltic-Americans, both old friends and new!
