Virsraksts
I Love You Mom!
Mom's smiles can brighten any moment,
Mom's hugs put joy in all our days,
Mom's love will stay with us forever
and touch our lives in precious ways...
The values you've taught,
the care you've given,
and the wonderful love you've shown,
have enriched my life
in more ways than I can count.
I Love you Mom!
A Mother is...

A Mother is...

someone who has

a generous heart

and a capacity for giving

that`s as limitless as the sky.

With her understanding and caring,

she creates a safe place

 for her family....

A mother is someone

who manages to balance

a strong sense of self

with a natural desire

to share her time and talents

with others.

She can juggle a thousand

different things at once-

and make it look easy.

A mother is someone

who`s wonderful at listening and encouraging

and making a positive difference.

A mother is someone whose life is incredibly full

of joys, responsibilities, and people she loves-

people who love her right back.

Hope you know

how truly special

and amazing you are-

and how very deeply you`re loved.

Happy Mother`s Day

Mother...

Mother,

there are some things in life

that I`ve never had to question-

like how lucky I am to have you.

Growing up,

I never countedall the hugs and kisses you gave me,

I just knew I was loved.

I never thought about how safe and secure I felt,

I just knew you were always there for me...

Looking back, I`m amazed

at all the ways you made me feel

special and cared for, and the sweetest thing is

You still make me feel that way.

I love you

and hope you have

a wonderful

Mother`s Day.

When you thought I wasn't looking...

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you hang my first painting on the refrigerator,
and I wanted to paint another one.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you feed a stray cat,
and I thought it was good to be kind to animals.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you make my favorite cake for me,
and I knew that little things are special things.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I heard you say a prayer,
and I believed there is a God I could always talk to.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I felt you kiss me goodnight,
and I felt loved.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw tears come from your eyes,
and I learned that sometimes things hurt,
but it's all right to cry.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw that you cared,
and I wanted to be everything that I could be.

Mommy, I love you...
Mommy, I love you
For all that you do.
I'll kiss you and hug you
'Cause you love me, too.

You feed me and need me
To teach you to play,
So smile 'cause I love you
On this Mother's Day.
Your love is like the Arizona sun...
Your love is like the Arizona sun:
Always there, no matter what I do.
Bathed in light, I feel my love for you,
But words are gone before I have begun.
I don't know why I find it hard to say
The things that rest so deeply in my heart.
It seems almost impossible to start,
As though they're too ungainly to display.
I cherish you and what you feel for me.
I'm lucky that I have you for a mom.
I love you with a love that's sweet and calm,
And vast, like some unending inner sea.
You're the one I'm with when I'm alone;
You're the place within my heart that's home.
A mother's love determines how...
A mother's love determines how
We love ourselves and others.
There is no sky we'll ever see
Not lit by that first love.

Because of you my world still has
The soft grace of your smile;
And every wind of fortune bears
The scent of your caress.
A villanelle for Mother's Day...
A villanelle for Mother's Day
Should take me just about an hour:
Writing it is child's play.
Because I know just what to say,
And rhyming's quite within my power,
To write it should be child's play.
Yet plain speech is not my way:
I look for leaves to shade my flower,
This villanelle for Mother's Day.
I do not wish to sound too fey,
Obscure, mystic, gushy, sour--
Arggh! Writing's never child's play!
Yes, childish! To my dismay,
Far beyond the allotted hour,
This villanelle for Mother's Day
Dawdles on. Let me just say
It plain: I love you, and so end our
Villanelle for Mother's Day.
(Well … writing it was child's play.)
"Happy Mother's Day" means more...
"Happy Mother's Day" means more
Than have a happy day.
Within those words lie lots of things
We never get to say.
It means I love you first of all,
Then thanks for all you do.
It means you mean a lot to me,
And that I honor you.
But most of all, I guess it means
That I am thinking of
Your happiness on this, your day,
With pleasure and with love.
There is no love enough for me to give you...
There is no love enough for me to give you.
However much I feel, there should be more.
All the love an angel choir might sing you
Never makes it halfway up that shore.
Know that I would burst my willing heart
Your life to fill with pleasure overflowing,
Or if I had the genius and the art,
Undertake to paint your spirit glowing.
More beautiful than all the summer fields
Or all the cornucopias of fall,
The wish my insufficient passion yields
Holds me with a vastness I recall.
Even as your love became my sea,
Remember that the same is yours from me.
From Greeting Card

With warmest wishes,

special thoughts,

and loving pride —

because it's your day, Mother,

and because you're you.

From Greeting Card

As children, we can't comprehendor fully realize  the meaning of our mothers love, how tender and how wise,
Her patience and her guidance,
her helpful, caring ways,
the special, thoughtful things she does to brighten up the days. Years go by, before we knowthe depth of her concern, the love in her protectiveness it takes so long to learnBut as we grow, we understandfor we look back and see, through older eyes and wiser heartsher love and loyalty. Its  these and many other things that make her grow more dear, more admired and more appreciatedwith every passing year.
